Jhirna Zone is open year-round and known for its diverse terrain and frequent herbivore sightings. Ideal for families and birdwatchers, it offers a peaceful wildlife experience under expert forest guide supervision.
Close to Jhirna, Dhela offers grasslands and water bodies rich in sloth bears, birds, and jackals. Open throughout the year with government-approved Jeep Safaris, it's a serene destination for nature lovers.
Northeastern Corbett’s hilly zone, Durga Devi is famous for scenic rivers, Mahseer fish, and birdlife. It’s a favorite for photographers and nature lovers booking guided Jeep safaris with valid permits.
Known for its balanced forest and grassland mix, Garjiya is an accessible and scenic safari zone. Ideal for first-time visitors, safaris are conducted under regulated forest department rules.
Peaceful and less crowded, Phanto near Kalagarh offers raw forest views and rich bird diversity. Forest-licensed guides ensure a safe, eco-conscious jungle experience here.
A buffer zone entry point to Bijrani and Garjiya, Teda is great for short jeep safaris. Surrounded by villages and forest, it’s perfect for a quick yet wild adventure.
Nicknamed the “Leopard Zone”, Pawalgarh is densely forested and known for big cat sightings. Managed by the Corbett Tiger Reserve, it supports day safaris with advance bookings.
This eco-zone offers quiet, low-footfall safaris ideal for birdwatchers and solitude seekers. Its calm environment ensures a peaceful jungle exploration.
Near the Mohaan forest rest house, this zone is perfect for nature photographers and explorers looking for a quiet, less commercial forest route.
Terms & Conditions for Jungle Safari Booking
- Jeep and Canter Safaris at Jim Corbett National Park are conducted in two daily shifts: Morning (6:30 AM – 9:30 AM) and Afternoon (2:30 PM – 5:30 PM).
- Safari bookings are accepted only against confirmed payment and valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.).
- All guests must provide a recent passport-size photograph for safari permit issuance as per forest department guidelines.
- The maximum number of passengers allowed per Jeep is strictly regulated. Overcrowding is not permitted and vehicles will be turned back at the gate if limits are exceeded.
- Safari visitors are responsible for their own personal belongings. The safari guide and driver are not accountable for any loss or damage during the trip.
- Entry permits are non-transferable and issued only for the zone and time slot booked in advance.
- Safari routes and zones are allocated by forest officials. Requests for specific zones are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
- All guests are expected to follow forest department instructions and code of conduct during the safari. Violation may lead to cancellation without refund.
- All safaris are subject to weather conditions and forest department regulations. In rare cases, safaris may be cancelled due to unforeseen reasons.
